Installing the
Plywood
Now we are ready to cover up the fireplace with 3/8" plywood. I like to use screws for this application. If I need to move anything around it is easy to remove screws than nails.
As you can see in the photo below it looks better already. We cut a small hole where the mantle should be. So, we can retrieve the wiring we have installed.
Make sure you use protective eyeware at all times.
